Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 28th May

A thrilling night of competitive netball unfolded on the Ilkeston Wednesday League, with Net Seekers, Spice Goals, and Stealing Passes taking home the glory. As week 8 of the season drew to a close, excitement continues to mount with only two weeks left of the current season.

In a tightly contested match, Ilkeston Stars were edged out by Spice Goals, who stole the show with a 14-13 victory. Despite the result, the Stars demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship, proving they're serious contenders for the remaining games.

Victorious Secret also took to the court, and managing an impressive victory over Net Seekers. Despite the result, Cristina Hurd of Net Seekers stole the limelight and was honoured as the most valued player of the week. 

The night ended with Netballerz going against Stealing Passes. Stealing Passes lived up to their name, intercepting the ball numerous times, which ultimately led to a 19-4 victory over Netballerz.

With two weeks left, teams are battling it out for the top spots and athletes are giving it their all on the court. While the season may be drawing to a close, the intensity is far from over. Now is the time to secure your place for the next season as the competition is set to be even more fierce and thrilling.

The League continues to showcase exceptional talent and sportsmanship. Despite the losses, every team and player has shown remarkable dedication and resilience. With two weeks left of the season, every pass, every shot, every steal counts.
