Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 29th January

Sports enthusiasts were treated to a thrilling week of action in the Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League this week, with high stakes matches that gave fans something to cheer about. The action-packed league is in its third week of the season, and the competition has been nothing short of spectacular.

In the League division, the Victorious Secret team showcased their prowess with a 23-6 victory over Stealing Passes. 

However, the night belonged to the Rutland Comets who played a thrilling match against Spice Goals. Despite the best efforts of the Spice Goals, the Comets clinched a 15-9 victory.

The Ilkeston Stars also shone brightly this week, overpowering Net Seekers in a 10-2 win. The Stars' performance demonstrated their determination and skill, making them a formidable force in the league.

Amidst the high-octane matches, it was Olivia Thoday of Spice Goals who stole the show. Thoday was named the most valued player of the week, a testament to her outstanding performance. Despite their result, Spice Goals can take pride in Thoday's individual brilliance and her contribution to the team.
