Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 4th June

Another electrifying week in Ilkeston's Wednesday Netball league has come to a close, shaking up the League with intense action, strategic plays, and a standout performance that has sports fans buzzing.

In the League, the robust competition tightened on court as our local teams clashed in a series of high-energy matches. The first match saw the well-organised Ilkeston Stars going up against the consistent Stealing Passes. Despite the Stars' spirited play, led by the league's Most Valued Player, Paige Pringle, the Stealing Passes managed to secure a victory with a score of 12-9.

The adrenaline did not stop there. The Netballerz, a team known for their agility on court, faced the formidable Victorious Secret. Despite the Netballerz putting up a solid fight, Victorious Secret came out on top with a convincing 10-4 win.

Meanwhile, in another heated match of the Premier League, the Net Seekers went head-to-head with the Spice Goals. The Spice Goals showcased their offensive prowess by netting a striking score of 17 against the Net Seekers' 2, marking the highest scoring game of the week.
