Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 8th January

In the heart-pounding final week of the illustrious Ilkeston Wednesday's League Netball season, the stakes were higher than ever, and the play on the court did not disappoint.

The most anticipated match of the night was between the high-flying Ilkeston Stars and the ardent Spice Goals. With a nail-biting finish, the Stars shone the brightest, edging out the Spice Goals with a hard-fought scoreline of 15-10.

However, the spotlight of the night belongs to none other than Olivia Thoday, the star player from Spice Goals. Despite her team's results, Thoday put on a dazzling display of skill and determination. Her exhilarating performance earned her the title of the Most Valued Player for the week, affirming her status as one of the League's top performers.

Elsewhere in the league, the Net Seekers faced a formidable challenge from Victorious Secret. The Secret unveiled their masterclass, with a victory of 22-4.

Rutland Comets and Stealing Passes were toe to toe throughout the game, with the Comets ultimately proving victorious, securing a 9-5 win.

The final whistle marked the end of an exhilarating season, with Rutland Comets emerging as the triumphant team of the League.
