Ilkeston Wednesday Netball Update 15th April

Wednesday night brought a fantastic close to the Ilkeston Wednesday Netball, wrapping up ten weeks of exciting and competitive matches. Week 10 delivered plenty of great moments, with teams putting in strong performances to round off the season in style.

Stealing Passes capped off an outstanding campaign with a 28–3 win over Rutland Rebels. Their consistent form throughout the season saw them finish top of the table with an impressive nine wins, a well-earned achievement that reflects their teamwork and determination.

Spice Goals also ended on a high, securing a 16–1 victory against Netballerz, while Victorious Secret put in a solid performance to overcome Pivot And Pass 23–7.

A special mention goes to Christina Ashley of Netballerz, who was named Most Valuable Player of the week. Her individual performance stood out and highlighted the talent on display across the night.

As the season comes to a close, it’s a great moment to recognise not just the winners, but every team involved. The effort, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm shown over the past ten weeks have made this a thoroughly enjoyable season from start to finish.

With this season wrapped up, there’s already plenty of excitement building for the next one—and the promise of even more great netball to come.
