Ilkeston Wednesday Netball Update 18th February

The Ilkeston Wednesday Netball competition returned for an exciting Week Two, with teams delivering energetic and well-contested matches. Players showed great teamwork, skill and determination throughout the evening.

In a closely fought game between Netballerz and Rutland Rebels, the match finished level at 6–6. Liane Ramsell of Rutland Rebels earned Player of the Week thanks to her excellent all-round performance and positive influence on the court. Her efforts helped secure a well-deserved draw for her side.

There was also a strong performance from Spice Goals, who recorded an 11–3 win against Pivot And Pass. Their sharp passing and consistent shooting helped them build momentum as the game progressed.

The final fixture of the night saw Stealing Passes edge past Victorious Secret in a tight 13–11 contest. Both teams battled hard from start to finish, making it an entertaining match for everyone involved.

Week Two highlighted the enthusiasm and competitive spirit across the competition, setting a promising tone for the weeks ahead. With several impressive performances already on display, the season is shaping up to be an enjoyable one.
