Ilkeston Wednesday Netball Update 25th February

Ilkeston Wednesday’s netball competition entered its third week with some exciting results and well-contested matches.

Stealing Passes delivered a strong performance to secure a 12–6 win over Netballerz. The game featured a pleasing blend of thoughtful tactics and accurate shooting, with Stealing Passes establishing control early on. Their efforts were supported by the excellent and consistent play of Siobhan Stevenitt, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her agility and precision made a clear difference throughout the match.

In another closely fought contest, Spice Goals overcame Victorious Secret with a 14–11 victory. It was a competitive game, with both sides showing determination, but Spice Goals’ organised approach and composed finishing helped them edge ahead.

Rounding off the week, Rutland Rebels faced Pivot And Pass and came away with a 7–4 win. Solid defensive work combined with steady attacking play proved important in securing the result.

As the fourth week approaches, teams will be looking to build on their performances so far. The commitment and teamwork already on display promise plenty more enjoyable and competitive netball in the weeks ahead.
