Week 7 of the Ilkeston Wednesday Netball saw another evening of competitive matches, with teams continuing to show good effort and teamwork on court.
Netballerz delivered a strong performance against Rutland Rebels, earning a 16–4 win. Their consistent play helped them maintain control, while Rutland Rebels continued to work hard throughout the match.
Spice Goals and Pivot And Pass played out a closely contested game, with Spice Goals edging a narrow 12–11 victory. It was a well-matched contest, with both teams showing determination from start to finish.
Shelley Marsh of Spice Goals was named Most Valued Player this week, recognised for her contribution and impact during the game.
Stealing Passes also recorded a 12–7 win over Victorious Secret, showing solid teamwork to secure the result.
As the season progresses, teams will continue to build on their performances and look for areas to improve. With more matches ahead, there are plenty of opportunities for further development and enjoyable competition in the coming weeks.
