Ilkeston Wednesday Netball Update 29th April

Another enjoyable week of netball unfolded in the Ilkeston Wednesday netball, with plenty of exciting moments and strong performances across the court. Although the season is still getting underway, teams are already showing great promise, teamwork, and enthusiasm.

One of the standout games of the evening saw Pivot And Pass take on Spice Goals in a lively and closely contested match. Both teams played with fantastic energy and determination, creating an engaging game for everyone watching. Pivot And Pass put in a solid performance, scoring 10 goals, while Spice Goals found their flow to take a 13–10 win in an entertaining encounter.

Across the night, there were many competitive moments, but special recognition goes to Jessica Stevens from Victorious Secret, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Her impressive performance and positive impact on the court made her a standout, contributing to a great week for her team.

As week 2 comes to a close, the season is already shaping up to be full of competitive matches and memorable performances. It’s been a great start, and there’s plenty more to look forward to as teams continue to grow and build momentum.

With such a promising start, this season is set to bring plenty more exciting moments for players and spectators alike.
