Ilkeston Wednesday Netball Update 5th November

In an electrifying finale to the Ilkeston Wednesday Netball, it was team Victorious Secret who lived up to their name, clinching the winners title in the 10th and final week of the season. With a total of 18 points secured from 9 wins, they stood victorious.

This week saw some exceptional performances across all teams. The matchup between Rutland Rebels and Stealing Passes ended with a 23-3 win for Stealing Passes. Despite their valiant effort, the Rebels could not overcome their opponents great play.

The game between Netballerz and Victorious Secret added to the drama of the night. With determination and skill, Victorious Secret outmatched their competitors with a 21-7 victory, using this game as a launchpad to claim the title.

In another exciting face-off, Rutland Ravens were defeated by Spice Goals 16-7. The match was a showcase of determination, teamwork, and strategy, with both teams leaving it all on the court.

The star of the week was undoubtedly Casey Lewis from Rutland Ravens. Displaying exceptional game awareness, agility, and precision, Lewis's performance earned her the Most Valued Player honor for the week. Her contribution to the Ravens was significant and lauded by both teammates and opponents alike.

As we close this season, we applaud the efforts of all the teams that participated, and we congratulate Victorious Secret for their phenomenal performance.
