It was another delightful evening at the Samworthy Church Academy for Week 2 of the social netball season. Embracing a welcoming atmosphere, players of all experience levels came together in friendly competition. The evening was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and an astounding spirit of good sportsmanship.

In the first match of the evening, Ballers and Black Panthers demonstrated an exceptional display of team camaraderie and strategic gameplay. Ballers finished the game with a score of 1, while Black Panthers secured 5. Despite the score difference, the game was played in a wonderful spirit that encapsulated the essence of social netball.

Next, Stealing Passes and High Hoops took to the court. The game ended with Stealing Passes scoring an impressive 11 against High Hoops' determined 4. Both teams showed great commitment and made the match an enjoyable spectacle for everyone present.

In the final game of the night, On Target faced off against Nets Top Models. After a lively game filled with positive energy, Nets Top Models ended the match with a score of 16, outscoring On Target’s 8. Every player on the court contributed to an exciting match that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

A special mention must go to Lyla from Stealing Passes who was named as the Most Valued Player of the evening. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were admirable, earning appreciation from both teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 3, we anticipate another fantastic evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about scoring goals, but also keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. We can't wait to see everyone back on the court next week!
