Kettering Wednesday night netball - week 16

Week 16 of the Kettering Wednesday netball league delivered another exciting evening of competitive fixtures, with strong performances across all teams as the season approaches its final stages.

With only a couple of weeks remaining, every match is proving crucial, and the intensity on court reflected just how much teams are pushing to finish the season strongly.

One of the standout results of the night saw Court In The Act produce a dominant performance against NET2HOLIDAYS, securing an impressive 18–3 win. Their teamwork and consistency across the court helped them control the game from start to finish.

In another competitive fixture, One Hoop Wonders faced Ghostbusters in a closely contested match. Both teams showed great determination and worked hard throughout, but One Hoop Wonders managed to edge ahead late on to take a 12–9 victory.

Net Profits also put in a strong performance against Hustlers, securing a solid 16–8 win. Their movement and accuracy in attack proved key as they built momentum throughout the game.

The final match of the evening saw Wingin It take on The Vixens in a high-energy contest. Wingin It delivered a standout performance to secure a 19–1 victory, showing excellent attacking play and control across the court. Despite the result, The Vixens continued to compete strongly, and a special mention goes to Emma Ferns, who was named Most Valued Player of the week for her determination, defensive work, and all-round contribution.

Overall, it was another enjoyable and competitive week in the league, with teams continuing to show great effort, sportsmanship, and improvement as the season draws to a close.

The final weeks promise to be closely fought, and it will be exciting to see how the standings develop as the league reaches its conclusion.
