Play in the Kettering Wednesday netball league
FINAL WEEK OF THE KETTERING WEDNESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE
The Kettering Wednesday netball league came to a close this week with an enjoyable final round of fixtures and plenty of positive moments across the League. It has been a fantastic season filled with teamwork, improvement, and competitive but friendly matches throughout.
A huge congratulations goes to Court In The Act, who finished the season as league winners after an impressive campaign. Their consistency and teamwork across the season helped them secure top spot. Congratulations also to runners-up Wingin It, who performed strongly throughout and pushed hard right until the end of the season.
There was also special recognition for Rosie Lancashire from Vixens, who was crowned this season’s Most Valued Player. Her performances, attitude, and contribution throughout the season made her a standout player and a deserving recipient of the award.
On the final night of fixtures, Court In The Act completed their successful season with a 6-0 win over Vixens. They showed good organisation and teamwork once again, while Vixens continued to compete positively throughout the match.
Elsewhere, Ghostbusters secured an 8-4 win against Netspressos in a well-contested fixture, while One Hoop Wonders earned an 8-5 victory over Wingin It in another competitive game. Both matches saw teams working hard and producing some strong passages of play.
Hoop Troopers also finished the season with a positive performance, recording a 14-5 win against Net Profits. Meanwhile, NET2HOLIDAYS edged a close 6-5 result against Hustlers in one of the evening’s tightest contests.
Wingin It’s Chloe Redden was named Player of the Week following another strong individual performance. Her contribution on court and consistent effort throughout the evening stood out and provided a positive end to the season for her team.
Across the League, teams have continued to develop and enjoy their netball each week, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for everyone involved. The season has been full of encouraging performances, close matches, and great teamwork from all sides.
As one season comes to an end, attention will soon turn to the next, with teams already looking forward to returning to the court. Congratulations once again to all players and teams for a brilliant season.
