The second week of the Kettering Wednesday Netball League saw another enjoyable evening of competitive action, with teams continuing to build momentum as they battled for valuable points in the League.

Wingin It put in a strong performance to overcome Court In The Act 12-5, while Ghostbusters also enjoyed a successful outing, recording a 9-2 victory against The Vixens.

One of the closest contests of the evening saw One Hoop Wonders edge past Hoop Troopers in an entertaining 11-9 encounter. Elsewhere, Netspressos secured a hard-fought 7-5 win over Hustlers in a match that could have gone either way.

NET2HOLIDAYS delivered the highest-scoring performance of the night, producing an impressive display to earn an 18-4 victory over Net Profits and continue their positive start to the season.

Despite the result, Georgina Hartley of Net Profits stood out with an excellent individual performance and was named the league's Most Valued Player of the Week. Her determination, skill and contribution throughout the match made her a deserving recipient of the accolade.

With teams beginning to find their rhythm and plenty of closely contested matches taking place, the Kettering Wednesday Netball League is shaping up to be an exciting and enjoyable season for all involved. We look forward to seeing how the teams progress in the coming weeks.
