Play in the Canterbury Monday 7-a-side Netball League

Week 8 of the Canterbury Monday 7-a-side Netball League brought another enjoyable round of fixtures in the Premier League Division, with teams continuing to show great teamwork and commitment on court.

Shooting Stars had a strong outing against No Direction, finishing the match with a 20–9 scoreline. With just two weeks remaining in the season, they continue to build positive momentum and demonstrate consistent performances week after week.

A standout this week was Hannah Blagden, who was named most valuable player. Her focus, effort, and skill have played an important role in the Shooting Stars’ progress this season.

Elsewhere, Win Or Booze recorded a close 10–6 win over High Hoops in a competitive match, while Canterbury Hot Shots enjoyed a successful evening against the Rowdy Rockets, finishing with an 18–0 result.

As the season heads toward its final weeks, teams across the division are continuing to work hard, support one another, and enjoy the spirit of the league. With plenty of quality netball on display, there’s still lots to look forward to as the season wraps up.
