The St Bernadette Catholic Secondary School transformed into a hub of high-spirited action during Week 2 of the social netball season. The evening was brimming with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that embraced players of all experience levels. A healthy blend of beginners and seasoned players alike participated in a delightful night of netball that was nothing short of a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and, most importantly, the pure joy of the game.

The first match saw the Avon Vixens facing off against Net A Clue. Despite the final score of 13-5 in favour of Net A Clue, the game was a testament to the unwavering commitment and positive energy of both teams. Every player displayed an impressive show of teamwork and sportsmanship that made the game a pleasure to watch and participate in.

In the second matchup, Bristol Belles played against Odd Balls. In an exhilarating game that ended 12-5 to Bristol Belles, both teams demonstrated remarkable dedication and a strong spirit of camaraderie. The evening was filled with laughter and friendly competition, reminding everyone why we all love this game so much.

The final game, a close-knit encounter between Shes A Keeper and Pass Perfect, ended in a score of 7-6 in favour of Pass Perfect. Despite the narrow margin, it was an enjoyable game played in good spirits.

A special mention goes to Flamedunn Dunn from Shes A Keeper, who was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week. Her infectious enthusiasm, nimble movement around the court, and positive contribution to the game didn't go unnoticed. Both her teammates and opponents alike appreciated her efforts and spirit throughout the game.

As we look forward to Week 3, the anticipation and excitement are building for another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active; it's about meeting new people, developing netball skills and thriving in a supportive community environment. So, here's to another week of Back to Netball - where it's all about having fun, building friendships and enjoying the game we all love.
