In a thrilling week of netball action, the Biggleswade Sunday league continued with some intense matches in the League, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats.
The Purple Shooters exhibited a stunning performance against Wildcats with an impressive 18-2 victory, asserting their dominance on the court. The match demonstrated the Shooters' incredible cohesion and their ability to apply pressure, making it tough for Wildcats to breakthrough.
In what might have been the most nail-biting game of the week, Stratton Sisters narrowly defeated Hoop Hustlers with a score of 13-12. The match was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams demonstrating strategic plays and exceptional teamwork. Hoop Hustlers may have lost, but their player, Dami Barnor, displayed an outstanding performance that earned her the title of most valued player of the week.
The competition remained fierce as Spice Goals managed to outscore Hoops There It Is by a narrow margin of 12-9, and No Net No Sweat dominated the court against Block It Like It's Hot, winning 21-7. Winging It fought hard but ultimately fell short against Kiss My Pass, with a final score of 6-13.
