Leicester Wednesday Netball Update 15th April

Week 6 of the Leicester Wednesday Netball brought another enjoyable evening of action, with teams continuing to show great effort and progress on court.

Shooting Stars faced Seagrave Squirrels in an entertaining and closely fought contest. Seagrave Squirrels came away with a 19–14 win, but both sides contributed to a competitive and engaging match.

Nets Top Models followed with a confident display against Give Us A Shot, earning a 22–3 victory. Their sharp play and coordination helped them achieve their highest score of the season so far, while Give Us A Shot kept battling and will be looking to build on this experience in the coming weeks.

The final game of the evening saw Court Queens take on Natterjacks in a lively matchup. Both teams worked hard throughout, with Natterjacks putting together a strong performance to secure a 16–8 win, showing good teamwork and consistency.

A special mention goes to Give Us A Shot’s Laura Andrews, whose determination and effort stood out on the night. Her performance earned her the well-deserved Most Valued Player award, highlighting her positive impact on the court.

As the season moves forward, it’s great to see all teams continuing to develop and enjoy their netball. With each week bringing new highlights, there’s plenty to look forward to as the season progresses.
