Great Energy on Show in Leicester Wednesday Netball

Week seven of the Leicester Wednesday Netball brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams delivering strong performances and plenty of positive moments on court.

Seagrave Squirrels put in a confident display against Court Queens, securing a 20–8 win. Their teamwork and communication were clear throughout the match, with Natalie Barsby playing a key role. Her movement and accuracy helped guide her team, earning her a well-deserved Player of the Week recognition.

Shooting Stars also had a successful outing, taking a 21–1 win over Birstall Bluebirds. Their organised play and quick transitions made for an effective performance, while the Bluebirds continued to show determination and effort throughout the game.

Wreake Havoc and Give Us A Shot shared a closely contested match, with Wreake Havoc just edging ahead 11–9. Both teams showed great commitment, making it an engaging and evenly matched game from start to finish.

Natterjacks continued to build momentum with an 18–13 win over Nets Top Models. It was a well-played match by both sides, featuring some great passages of play and teamwork.

With another week completed, it’s great to see teams continuing to develop and enjoy their netball. As the season progresses, there’s plenty to look forward to, with more exciting and positive matchups still to come.
