Leicester Wednesday Netball Update 29th April

It was another lively evening in the Leicester Wednesday Netball, with teams bringing great energy and commitment to the court.

Court Queens took on Nets Top Models, with Nets Top Models delivering a strong team performance to take the win, 29–3. Their fluid play and teamwork really shone through, but credit also goes to Court Queens for their determination and effort throughout the match.

Wreake Havoc faced Natterjacks in a competitive game, with both sides showing great spirit. Natterjacks came away with a 29–6 victory, demonstrating solid coordination and consistency, while Wreake Havoc continued to battle hard and show resilience.

Seagrave Squirrels met Birstall Bluebirds in what proved to be an engaging contest. The Squirrels secured a 24–5 win, showcasing some excellent passages of play, while the Bluebirds kept pushing and created some promising moments of their own.

There was also a standout individual performance on the night, with Sophie Logan of Birstall Bluebirds named Player of the Week. Her skill, determination and positive impact on the court made her a deserving recipient of the award.

As the season progresses, every match continues to play an important role. With plenty of effort and improvement on display across all teams, it’s great to see such enthusiasm and sportsmanship week after week. We’re looking forward to more enjoyable and competitive netball in the rounds ahead.
