The final week of the Burton-on-Trent Sunday Netball League brought an exciting end to a fantastic season, with plenty of close games, great teamwork, and memorable moments across the court.

A huge congratulations goes to Netball Ninjas, who were crowned league champions after a brilliant 13–8 win over Untouchables in the final match of the season. Their consistency, determination, and strong performances throughout the campaign saw them finish top of the table with an impressive 25 points and 12 wins overall.

There was plenty of drama elsewhere too, with Goal Diggers and Hoopz playing out a thrilling 11–11 draw in one of the closest matches of the night. Usual Chaos and Hotshots also couldn’t be separated, finishing 5–5 after a hard-fought contest full of energy and determination.

Amazeballs and Odd Balls rounded off the evening with another entertaining draw, ending their game 5–5 and showing fantastic team spirit right until the final whistle.

This season has been full of competitive matches, brilliant sportsmanship, and a fantastic atmosphere every week. Every team should be proud of their efforts and the exciting netball they’ve produced throughout the league.

Congratulations once again to Netball Ninjas on becoming this season’s champions, and thank you to all the teams for making it such a fun and memorable season. We can’t wait to see everyone back on court for the next one!
