Week 3 of the Burton-on-Trent Sunday Netball League saw another enjoyable evening of action at de Ferrers Academy, with teams continuing to develop their performances as the season progresses.
The evening began with Amazeballs taking on Hoopz in a competitive fixture. Both teams showed strong teamwork and commitment throughout the match, producing an entertaining contest and setting the tone for the evening.
Goal Diggers then faced Hotshots in the second game of the night. Both sides worked hard across the court, demonstrating good organisation and determination. The match was played in excellent spirits and reflected the positive atmosphere of the league.
The third fixture saw Usual Chaos take on Netball Ninjas. Both teams contributed to a closely contested game, with players showing great effort and teamwork throughout. It was another enjoyable match that highlighted the competitive nature of the league.
Untouchables and Odd Balls rounded off the evening's action with a well-fought contest. Both teams displayed strong teamwork and commitment, providing an entertaining conclusion to another successful week of netball.
This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Samantha Barks from Untouchables. Samantha produced an excellent performance, demonstrating great movement, energy, and commitment throughout the evening. Her contribution was recognised by teammates and opponents alike, making her a deserving recipient of the award.
With Week 3 complete, teams will now turn their attention to the next round of fixtures as the season continues. The league provides a fantastic opportunity for players to stay active, improve their skills, and enjoy competitive netball in a welcoming and supportive environment.
