Week 2 of the Worcester Sunday Netball brought another great evening of competitive and entertaining matches, with teams continuing to build momentum early in the season.
Cobras and Rebounders delivered a closely contested game, with Cobras just edging it 10–9. Both teams showed strong defensive play and determination throughout, making it an exciting matchup that could have gone either way.
On The Attack produced a confident performance to secure a 13–7 win over Seven Wonders. Their teamwork and steady approach helped them maintain control, but Seven Wonders showed plenty of promise and effort across the court.
Toxic Goals also had a strong outing, earning a 17–6 victory against Spice Goals. Their attacking play flowed well on the night, helping them build a solid result while continuing to develop as a team.
A special mention goes to Anna Millington of Seven Wonders, who was named Most Valuable Player of the week. Her performance stood out, particularly in defence, where she made some key interceptions and showed great composure and leadership.
With the season still in its early stages, these results set up an exciting few weeks ahead. Every team is showing great commitment and potential, and there’s plenty more to come as the night continues to take shape.
