As the final week of the Oxford Sunday Netball League arrived, teams came together for an exciting evening of netball and a great end to the season. With league positions still to play for, every match brought plenty of energy, teamwork, and determination.
The evening began with a lively game between the Shooting Stars and Nets Go To The Pub, with Nets Go To The Pub coming away with a well-earned 14–5 win. Both teams showed great effort throughout the match, while Nets Go To The Pub impressed with some confident attacking play and strong teamwork.
Spires And Triers also rounded off their season in style with an impressive 25–3 win over The Full Oxperience. Their performance reflected the consistency they’ve shown all season, helping them secure the League title with 18 points from 9 wins.
As the final whistle marked the close of the season, it also celebrated a fantastic few months of competitive and enjoyable netball. Congratulations go to Spires And Triers on becoming this season’s champions and to every team who helped make the league such a success.
With another memorable season complete, players, supporters, and organisers can all look back proudly on the great matches, friendships, and sporting moments shared along the way. The season has set a wonderful foundation for another exciting year of netball ahead.
