Week eight of the Oxford Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable round of matches, with teams continuing to show great teamwork and determination as the season heads towards its final two weeks. With places for next season still to be decided, every game is giving players plenty to play for and supporters lots to cheer about.
Spires And Triers put in a fantastic team performance with an 18-0 win over Shooting Stars. Their defence worked brilliantly together, while their shooters made the most of every opportunity. Shooting Stars kept battling throughout and showed great spirit against tough opposition.
Cant Touch This and Nets Go To The Pub shared a closely contested match, with Cant Touch This coming away with a 7-4 win. Both teams played with great energy and teamwork in a game that highlighted the friendly but competitive atmosphere of the league.
The Full Oxperience also enjoyed a strong outing, securing a 19-6 victory over Court Queens. Their attacking play flowed well throughout the match, while Court Queens continued to work hard and create chances of their own.
With just two weeks left in the season, the League division is shaping up for an exciting finish. Every team has contributed to another memorable season of netball in Oxford, and there is still plenty to look forward to as the final matches approach.
