Leigh Thursday Week 5 - 23/4/26

It was another lively and enjoyable evening of Thursday netball in Leigh, with plenty of great moments, teamwork, and positive energy on display across all matches.

One of the standout results came from Play It Smart, who had a strong game against All The Gear No Idea, finishing 17–6. Play It Smart made the most of their chances and worked well together throughout, while All The Gear No Idea kept going and showed good determination right to the final whistle.

The closest match of the night was between Better Leight Than Never and Blue-itful Chaos. Both teams played with great spirit and effort, and it ended in a well-earned 3–3 draw. It was a really balanced game, with neither side giving much away and both teams supporting each other brilliantly.

In another match, No Bib Deal put in a solid performance to win 14–4 against Drop It Like Its Hot. There were some great passages of play, and both teams showed good movement and teamwork across the court.

A special mention goes to Coop Zoe from Drop It Like Its Hot, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her effort, attitude, and skill stood out, and she made a big impact for her team.

As we look ahead to week 6 of the Leigh Thursday League, it’s great to see teams continuing to enjoy their netball and support one another. Given the twists and turns we've seen so far, one can only guess what thrill each new match in this exciting league will bring!
