Week 6 of the Leigh Thursday Netball League brought another lively evening of netball, with League division teams showing great movement, teamwork, and accuracy across the court.
The first match of the night featured Blue-itful Chaos and Drop It Like It’s Hot. Drop It Like It's Hot settled into the game well and worked together nicely to take a 10–2 win. A standout performance came from Nicola Carson, whose energy and skill earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player this week.
Next up was a very close and entertaining game between No Bib Deal and All The Gear No Idea. Both teams matched each other throughout, creating one of the tightest games of the season so far. In the end, No Bib Deal just edged it 12–11, but it was a fantastic effort from both sides.
Dolce Vita also had a strong game against Better Leight Than Never, finding a great flow and making the most of their opportunities to finish 24–4. Their teamwork and consistency really shone through during the match.
Overall, it was another enjoyable evening that highlighted the positive spirit and sportsmanship of the League division. Nicola Carson’s performance certainly stood out, and it was great to see such enthusiasm and effort across all teams.
As the league heads into week 7, everyone is looking forward to more great games, continued progress, and plenty of moments to enjoy on court.
