Week 7 of the Leigh Thursday League brought another fun and energetic evening of netball, with all teams showing great teamwork, determination and plenty of positive spirit on court. Supporters were treated to some excellent passages of play and exciting moments across the League division, making it another enjoyable week of fixtures.
Dolce Vita delivered a confident performance against Blue-itful Chaos, working well together throughout the match to earn a 29-4 win. Their movement around the court and strong communication helped them create plenty of scoring opportunities, while Blue-itful Chaos continued to work hard and support one another from start to finish.
Play It Smart and Better Leight Than Never also produced an entertaining game, with both teams showing determination and teamwork throughout. Play It Smart found a good rhythm during the match and came away with a 21-8 victory, thanks to some well-worked passages of play and strong defensive efforts.
In another lively fixture, Drop It Like Its Hot faced All The Gear No Idea in a game full of effort and encouragement from both sides. Drop It Like Its Hot secured a 14-4 win, showing good control and teamwork across the court, while All The Gear No Idea continued to battle hard and create positive moments during the game.
Alongside the team performances, Clare Kinsey from No Bib Deal was recognised as this week’s Most Valued Player. Clare’s positivity, work rate and encouragement for teammates made a real impact on court and highlighted the supportive spirit that runs throughout the league.
Overall, Week 7 was another fantastic evening of netball, with every team contributing to an enjoyable atmosphere. As the league moves into Week 8, players and supporters alike will be looking forward to more great matches, continued improvement and plenty more memorable moments on court.
