WEEK 10 OF THE WINSFORD WEDNESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

Week ten of the Winsford Wednesday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams across the League continuing to show great teamwork, determination, and improvement on court. The night featured a number of competitive fixtures, with players continuing to build confidence and enjoy their netball in a positive and supportive environment.

The opening match saw Clued Up in Pink secure a 21-12 win over Honey Bees. Both teams showed good effort throughout the game, with Clued Up in Pink finding consistency in attack and moving the ball well across the court. Honey Bees continued to work hard and created several positive moments during the fixture.

Elsewhere, Rule Breakers earned a 21-6 win against Winsford Wasps. Rule Breakers displayed good communication and teamwork throughout the game, while Winsford Wasps remained committed and continued to look for opportunities to build their play and confidence.

The final fixture of the evening saw Underdogs take on Throw & Behold, with Underdogs recording a 22-6 victory. Their teamwork and organisation helped them maintain control of the game, while Throw & Behold continued to compete positively throughout the match.

Underdogs also had a standout performer in Sara Taylor, who was named Player of the Week. Her contribution on court, combined with her effort and teamwork, made a real impact and helped her side produce another strong performance.

Across the League, teams continue to improve each week, developing stronger teamwork and enjoying the opportunity to play competitive netball in a welcoming atmosphere. Every fixture continues to provide valuable experience and plenty of encouraging performances from all sides.

As the season moves into week eleven, teams will be looking to build on their recent performances and continue enjoying their time on court. With more exciting fixtures ahead, the League continues to offer a great balance of friendly competition, development, and enjoyable netball each week.
