Week 11 of the Winsford Wednesday netball League brought another entertaining evening of competitive action, with teams continuing to battle for valuable points as the season moves closer towards its conclusion. With the League table beginning to take shape, every fixture carried extra importance, and players across the court delivered strong performances filled with energy, teamwork, and determination.

The evening featured several impressive displays, with teams showing excellent communication, defensive organisation, and attacking quality throughout the night. As the competition continues to intensify, the standard of netball across the League remains high, creating another memorable round of fixtures for players and supporters alike.

One of the standout performances of the evening came from Shots And Giggles, who secured a convincing 22-9 victory against Honey Bees. From the opening centre pass, Shots And Giggles played with confidence and intensity, moving the ball quickly through the court and creating consistent scoring opportunities. Their shooters were in excellent form throughout the match, while strong defensive pressure limited Honey Bees’ chances to build momentum. Honey Bees continued to work hard and showed plenty of determination, but Shots And Giggles maintained control to finish with an impressive win.

Clued Up In Pink also enjoyed a successful evening with a strong 24-10 victory over Winsford Wasps. Demonstrating excellent teamwork and composure in possession, Clued Up In Pink produced one of their most complete performances of the season so far. Their accurate passing and clinical finishing allowed them to steadily extend their lead across the match, while their defensive unit worked tirelessly to disrupt the Wasps’ attacking rhythm. Winsford Wasps showed resilience throughout the game and continued to compete until the final whistle, but Clued Up In Pink proved difficult to contain on the night.

Another closely watched fixture saw Fast And Furious take on Underdogs in what turned out to be one of the most competitive matches of the evening. Both teams battled hard from start to finish in a fast-paced contest filled with strong defensive play and determined attacking efforts. Underdogs ultimately secured a hard-fought 12-7 victory after producing a composed performance in key moments of the game. Fast And Furious continued to apply pressure throughout the match and created several good opportunities, with Jade O’Shea standing out thanks to her excellent individual display.

Jade O’Shea’s performance earned her recognition as this week’s Most Valued Player. Her work rate, leadership, and impact across the court were clear throughout the match, and despite her team narrowly missing out on the result, she consistently demonstrated skill, determination, and positivity from start to finish.

The final game of the evening saw Rule Breakers claim a well-earned 12-8 victory over Throw & Behold in another entertaining encounter. Both teams remained competitive throughout the match, producing a closely contested game filled with end-to-end play and strong defensive efforts. Rule Breakers showed great resilience during important stages of the game and were able to maintain their composure to secure the win.
