Unsworth Tuesday Netball League - Week 6

The Unsworth Academy was abuzz with energy and anticipation for week 6 of the social netball season, as players of varying experience levels gathered for a fun-filled evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, as players from different walks of life united by their love for netball came together for a wonderful night of play.

St. Michaels and Goal Diggers were the first to take the court. St. Michaels finished the game with a score of 15-9. Despite the score gap, both teams displayed tremendous teamwork and commitment throughout the game. The positive energy was palpable, and the spirit of sportsmanship epitomized the true essence of social netball.

In another match, Phoenix Rising, and Worth A Shot ended in a draw, with a score of 3-3. Both teams displayed exemplary sportsmanship and dedication, making the game enjoyable for all. Their positive energy and commitment to the game were contagious, reflecting the true spirit of the sport.

Uns & Roses and Unstoppables were up next, with Uns & Roses finishing the game with a score of 12-4. The game was played in high spirits, with every player putting their best foot forward. The match was a fine showcase of teamwork and sportsmanship, making it an enjoyable game for all.

Our special mention goes to Louise Hadcroft from Unstoppables, who has been named the Most Valued Player of the week. Louise's enthusiasm and movement around the court were truly commendable. Her positive contribution to the game was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead to week 7, we are excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's an opportunity to get active, meet new people, and develop netball skills in a supportive environment. So, let's keep the spirit of the game alive and continue to grow together in this wonderful community of netball lovers. See you all next week!
