Looking back at this week's Social Netball matches in Leighton Buzzard, we're reminded of the spirit, camaraderie, and sheer fun that this back to netball programme brings to our local community.
In the League group, our friendly matches saw enthusiastic plays from Chasing Shadows, Kestrels, Wildcats, Buzzard Ballers, Leight's Get It, and Don't Be Leight. Each team displayed great sportsmanship, with a focus on fitness, friendship, and getting back into the game, rather than competing for top positions.
We're excited to give a friendly shout-out to Chelsie Miller from Kestrels, who was the heart of this week's session. Her positive contribution on court and her infectious enthusiasm while playing has been a beacon of light in every match.
Buzzard Ballers and Wildcats kept us on our toes with an exciting match that saw Wildcats cheerfully scoring the most goals. In another delightful match, Chasing Shadows and Kestrels showcased their gameplay, with Chasing Shadows playfully landing the most goals.
As we approach the penultimate week of this round of matches, we encourage anyone thinking about joining to come along and give Back to Netball a try. It's not about being the best; it's about being part of a community, staying fit, and most importantly, having fun!
With just two weeks of matches left, we're looking forward to more fun-filled, positive games. Come join us and experience the joy of Social Netball at Leighton Buzzard.
