Coalville Sunday Netball Update 31st May

Coalville Sunday’s highly anticipated netball season got underway this week, delivering an exciting opening round packed with great performances, competitive matches, and plenty of action across the night.

Win Or Booze made a strong start to their campaign with an impressive 11-4 victory over The Panthers. Despite the result, The Panthers can take plenty of positives from the game, with Marie Brader putting in an outstanding performance to earn the MVP award for Week 1. Her determination, skill, and leadership on court certainly caught the eye.

Another closely contested fixture saw We Don't Give A Shot claim a hard-fought 2-1 win over Court Queens. It was a closely fought encounter from start to finish, showcasing the competitive spirit and quality that promises to make this season one to watch.

Dynamite Divas also enjoyed a successful opening week, securing a well-earned 14-9 victory against Coalville Cheetahs. Both teams contributed to an entertaining contest, but the Divas’ strong attacking play helped them take the points.

The highest-scoring performance of the week came from Nets Club 7, who produced an excellent display to overcome Netsetters 19-7. Their sharp shooting and teamwork earned them the biggest win of the round.

With the first round now complete, the season is already shaping up to be an exciting one. Every team has shown plenty of promise, and there is still all to play for as the season continues. Players and supporters alike will be looking forward to another fantastic week of netball as the battle for top spot gathers momentum.
