Week two of the Wilmslow Sunday Netball League brought another round of lively and engaging matches, with teams arriving full of enthusiasm, determination, and great spirit.

Honey Bees opened the afternoon with an impressive 16–4 win against the Cowgirls. Their strong teamwork, quick movement, and steady defence helped them find a great rhythm on court, while the Cowgirls continued to work hard throughout the game.

Hustlers followed with a great 20–1 performance against Shoot Happens. Despite the result, Rachel Bruckshaw from Shoot Happens delivered an outstanding display and was recognised as this week’s Most Valuable Player. Her perseverance and skill were a real highlight of the day.

One of the closest and most exciting matchups came between Jammy Dodgers and It Girls. Both teams brought plenty of energy and determination, and Jammy Dodgers eventually claimed a narrow 9–8 victory in a fantastic end-to-end finish.

As the season develops, the competition is already shaping up to be wonderfully spirited, with plenty of memorable moments still to come.
