Week one of the Wilmslow Tuesday Netball League kicked off with a fantastic evening of netball, as teams returned to the court full of energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm for the start of the new season.
Off The Charts and Misbehaving opened the night with an exciting matchup. Both teams played with great intensity and attacking play, but Off The Charts managed to take the win 18–9 after a strong team performance.
Slay And Play then faced Centre Of Attention in a well-contested game. Both sides showed great communication and effort across the court, with Centre Of Attention securing a 9–4 victory after some composed attacking play.
Out Of Your League went head-to-head with Glam Slam in another lively fixture. Out Of Your League found their rhythm early and went on to win 17–9, though Glam Slam continued to battle hard and kept the game competitive throughout.
Seven Sisters and Game Faces On delivered one of the closest games of the evening. Both teams worked tirelessly in a tight contest, with Seven Sisters just edging ahead to take an 8–6 win after a fantastic back-and-forth match.
The final game of the night saw Big Bib Energy take on Too Hot To Handle. Both teams brought great energy to the court, with Big Bib Energy finishing the match with a 19–5 win after a confident attacking display.
This week’s Most Valued Player went to Olivia Lavin from Misbehaving, whose outstanding effort, skill, and determination made her a standout performer on the court.
