Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball – Week 9 Round-Up

Week 9 of the Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, delivered another fantastic evening of netball, with teams showcasing great teamwork, determination and skill throughout the night.

Goal Diggers and Blaze Ballers treated spectators to a closely contested match, with both teams battling hard from start to finish. It was a great display of commitment and teamwork, with neither side willing to give an advantage away.

Netbusters and Dolly Mixtures also produced an exciting encounter that kept everyone engaged throughout. Both teams played with great intensity, demonstrating the competitive spirit that has become a hallmark of the league this season.

Phoenix Flyers put in a strong performance against Wing-its, with both teams showing excellent effort and determination. The match featured some great passages of play and highlighted the quality of netball on display each week.

The Hotshots and Thunder Thighs rounded off the evening with another entertaining contest. Both teams worked hard across the court and provided plenty of exciting moments for players and supporters alike.

A special congratulations goes to Sienna Straker from Thunder Thighs, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her excellent performance, positive attitude and contribution to her team made her a deserving winner of the award.

As the season continues, the competition remains as exciting as ever, with every team working hard to improve and build momentum. We look forward to seeing more fantastic netball and memorable performances in the weeks ahead.
