Week 11 of the Wolverhampton Sunday Netball League saw another evening of competitive and enjoyable matches, with all teams continuing to develop their play as the season progresses.

Dolly Mixtures and Blaze Ballers got the action underway in a well-contested match. Both teams moved the ball well through the court and showed good teamwork, creating plenty of opportunities and setting the tone for the evening.

The next game featured Goal Diggers against Wing-its. Both sides worked hard throughout the match, with strong defensive efforts and determined attacking play on display. The game remained competitive from start to finish and highlighted the commitment of both teams.

Netbusters took on Thunder Thighs in the third fixture of the night. Both teams showed great energy and effort, with players contributing across the court. The match was played in good spirits and provided another entertaining contest for everyone involved.

The final game saw Phoenix Flyers face The Hotshots. It was an evenly matched encounter, with both teams battling hard throughout. Players demonstrated excellent teamwork and determination, bringing another successful evening of netball to a close.

Player of the Week

This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Sarah Owen from Dolly Mixtures. Sarah produced an excellent performance, working tirelessly throughout the game and making a positive impact for her team. Her movement, effort, and attitude stood out and earned her recognition from across the league.

With Week 11 complete, teams will now be preparing for the next round of fixtures as the season enters its final stages. Every game continues to provide valuable opportunities for players to improve, compete, and enjoy the social side of the league.
