Bedford Thursday Netball Update - Week 5

Week 5 of the Bedford Thursday Netball League brought another evening of fun, teamwork, and great energy on court, with wins for Goal Diggers, Blue Sirens, and Bedford Belles.

Goal Diggers enjoyed a strong game against Oh Shoot, coming away with an 11-6 win after an entertaining and closely contested match. Both teams showed fantastic determination and team spirit throughout the game.

Blue Sirens also had a brilliant evening, securing a 23-11 victory over Nets In The City. The team worked well together from start to finish, with plenty of great passing and movement helping them build a solid lead.

Bedford Belles rounded off the night with an impressive 18-3 win against Spice Goals. Their teamwork and communication were on full display, making for a confident performance on court.

A special mention goes to Malindi Samarawickrama from Nets In The City, who was named Player of the Week. Malindi stood out with an excellent all-round performance, bringing energy, skill, and positivity to the game.

The Bedford Thursday Netball League continues to provide a fantastic atmosphere each week, with teams enjoying competitive but friendly matches and plenty of great moments along the way. We’re looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season brings!
