Weston-super-mare Sunday Natball Update - Week 9

Week 9 of the Weston-super-Mare Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of social netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement, and fun matches across the court.

Spice Goals and Weston Wildcats played out a very close and exciting game, with Spice Goals just edging the result 4-3. Both teams worked hard throughout and kept the game entertaining right up until the final whistle.

Pier Pressure had a strong performance against West End Girls, finishing with an 18-3 win. Their teamwork, communication, and positive energy on court were fantastic to watch, while West End Girls continued to battle hard and support one another throughout the game.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun also enjoyed a good evening against Super Mares, coming away with a 15-4 result. Both teams brought great spirit to the court and played the game in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

A special mention goes to Abbi Stenner from Weston Wildcats, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her effort, movement, and all-round performance stood out on the night and earned her well-deserved recognition.

With another brilliant week completed, the league continues to provide a fun and welcoming environment for everyone involved. We’re already looking forward to seeing all the teams back next Sunday for more social netball action.
