Weston-Super-Mare Sunday netball Update - Week 1

A fantastic evening of netball marked the start of the new Weston-Super-Mare Sunday You Play Netball League season, with teams taking to the court for a fun and energetic first round of matches.

There was plenty of teamwork, encouragement, and positive play on display as everyone settled into the new season.

Pier Pressure got off to a strong start with a 24-5 result against West End Girls, while Weston Wildcats enjoyed a great game against Spice Goals, finishing 10-2. Another exciting match saw Super Mares and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun share the court in a closely fought game, with Super Mares coming away with an 11-8 win.

A special mention goes to Christine McLanaghan from West End Girls, who was voted this week’s Most Valued Player after a brilliant performance and great attitude on court.
