Weston-super-mare Sunday Netball Update - Week 10

The final night of the Weston-super-Mare Sunday Netball League was a lovely way to round off another fun season, with plenty of smiles, great teamwork, and enjoyable games across the evening.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Weston Wildcats started the night with a great match, with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun taking an 8-4 win after some fantastic passing and teamwork.

Pier Pressure also had a strong game against Spice Goals, finishing with a 14-4 win and ending the season on a high.

Super Mares and West End Girls played out one of the closest games of the night, with Super Mares just edging the match 8-6 in a fun and competitive game played in great spirit by both teams.

A huge well done to Pier Pressure for finishing the season as league winners, and congratulations to West End Girls for finishing as runners-up after a brilliant season.

A special shoutout also goes to Joanna Markus from West End Girls, who was named Player of the Match after another fantastic performance, and to Sandra from Spice Goals, who was awarded Player of the Season for all of her hard work, positivity, and great performances throughout the season
