Week 2 Brings More Great Netball in Weston-super-Mare
It was another enjoyable evening of netball in Weston-super-Mare as teams returned to the courts for week two of the Sunday league. The night was full of great teamwork, positive energy and plenty of support from players on and off the court.
West End Girls had a strong game against Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, putting together some lovely passages of play to finish 14–2. Both teams kept the game flowing and showed great effort throughout.
Weston Waves and Super Mares shared a closely fought match, with Weston Waves just edging the result 7–4. It was a really enjoyable contest with some excellent defending and great teamwork from both sides.
Pier Pressure and Weston Wildcats also delivered an entertaining game, with Pier Pressure finding their rhythm to finish 29–10. Both teams brought great energy to the court and produced some great moments of play.
This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Becky Davis from Weston Wildcats. Becky delivered a fantastic performance, showing great determination and skill throughout the match and earning well-deserved recognition.
It’s been brilliant to see everyone enjoying their netball and supporting each other in such a positive atmosphere. With the season just getting underway, there’s plenty more fun and great games still to come.
