Weston-super-mare Sunday Netball Update - Week 6

Week 6 of the Weston-super-Mare Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of social netball, with great teamwork, effort, and plenty of positive play on show.

The first game of the evening saw Spice Goals take a close 8–6 win over Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. It was a well-matched game, with both teams working hard and showing great determination throughout.

Pier Pressure had a strong game against Super Mares, finishing 9–4. Their teamwork and communication helped them build a steady lead, but Super Mares kept battling and showed great spirit.

West End Girls and Weston Wildcats played out another entertaining match, with West End Girls coming away with a 14–5 win. There were some lovely passages of play, with both teams continuing to support and encourage each other.

A special mention goes to this week’s Player of the Week, A Bowman from Super Mares, who delivered a fantastic individual performance and made a real impact on the court.

As we head into the next round of games, it’s great to see everyone enjoying their netball, building confidence, and supporting one another each week. We’re looking forward to more fun and friendly matches ahead.
