Weston-Super-Mare Sunday Netball League: Week Nine Brings Another Evening of Fantastic Netball

In a thrilling display of athleticism and grit, the Weston-super-mare Sunday Netball League saw an intense competition unfold during its ninth week. Teams from across the sporting spectrum battled it out for supremacy, showcasing a vibrant mix of strategy, skill and sheer determination.

The West End Girls faced  Weston Wonders, with the Wonders taking home 7-3 victory. The Weston Wildcats won 9-2, against Super Mares in a game that has no doubt left the Wildcats with a surge of renewed confidence heading into the next week.

However, the highlight of the evening came in the form of an absolute blitz from team Pier Pressure, who clocked an astounding 21-1 victory against Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Despite the result could not overshadow a standout performance from Becky Jeavons of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, who was named the Most Valued Player for the week. Becky's extraordinary gameplay exhibited the spirit of netball, highlighting that individual brilliance can shine.

As we head into the tenth week of the Weston-super-mare Sunday Netball League, the competition continues to heat up. The Premier League teams have set the bar high, and the upcoming games promise to deliver nothing short of spectacular.
